Mouriès is the number one olive producer in France, and makes very high quality olive oil (unfiltered and cold pressed). You can discover all the secrets of its manufacture by following the 'route des oliviers', an itinerary which will lead you from the olive tree groves to the mills and presses, by way of the museum and the boutiques. Mouriès, is deeply attached to local tradition and organises numerous events celebrating it: aïoli, taurine festival in its arenas, folk festival... The village has also designed a wine trail and a circuit which takes you past the ancient aristocratic and noble homes of the Vallée des Baux.
